recycling unwanted household items that would otherwise be destined for the dump. Free plant for everyone who shares a

August): "Container Gardening" Learn how to grow a lush garden without ever lifting a shovel
or cranking the tiller! Lots of hints and tips, as well as unique ideas for containers. Free plant for everyone who brings
something for our snack table.
September 19. 2009 (Third Saturday in September) "Harvesting Herbs"
Enjoying the fruits of your summer labor can be a year-round joy. Learn how to harvest and store your herbs for later use.
This includes gathering seeds for next year's garden. Door prize drawing, all participants included.
October 17, 2009 (Third Saturday in October) "Decorating with Herbs".
Wreath making, glass pressing, centerpieces and much much more! Free plant for everyone who brings something for our snack
table.
November 11, 2009 (Second Saturday in November) "Have a Happy Herbal
Holiday!" Ways to incorporate herbs into your holiday menus as well as decor.
December and January will have no special event.
